SILHOUETTE CLEAR SKY MATERIAL TEASER
SPX Green+ and procedural design for motion graphics
Another Asset from the Clear Sky Campaign created in collaboration with STAN Studios was this pre-release teaser post for their new SPX Green + Material, hinting at the connection to nature and its focus and sustainability while still keeping the details a mystery for the big reveal campaign.
Having already gathered experience with the client from the main film, the production of this post was abled to be executed over a few days, creating some difficult and innovative material transition effects in no time and staying very agile in our work thanks to the aesthetic framework established by our previous work with SILHOUETTE.
Utilizing advanced procedural design pipelines we managed to leverage real-time based 3d animation tools to quickly generate the look and feel of the 3d motion design aspects of this project; keeping prototyping time down and directly getting into the creative work.

The woodchip as a representation of the ecological base resources was created using a stock asset which we refined with procedural material effects, casting the natural material against the pristine blue sky of a sustainable future.

The woodchip gets shattered using physics simulations, starting the transformation-process of the resource into a workable design material.

The physics simulations get combined with more procedural material effects, beginning to transform from the basic resource into the polyamid material that will create the glasses in the main film

the material shards fuse together into a polyamid particle utilizing procedural geometry node simulations and shader effects I custom-made for this project.

The camera keeps rotating around the particle, revealing a sky filled with a cloud of them.

finally, the sky transitiosn into the CI of silhouette.
